Der Ono-Stuhl wird zu einem Begegnungsstuhl. In Südafrika entstehen aus allerlei Fund sachen ganze Städte, die townships. In ähnlicher Weise haben wir von Hollandse Nieuwe alte Stühle zusammengesucht, um sie mit dem Ono-Stuhl zu einem Begeg-nungsstuhl zu verbinden, der zum Sitzen und Kommunizieren einlädt.

The Ono chair becomes a community chair. South African townships gather together materials they fnd to form new cities. In a similar way, Hollandse Nieuwe have collected unused chairs together to combine with the Ono chair to create the beginning of a community furniture piece. The community chair is an invitation to sit and meet.
